God Did It

When I was down and out and didn't know which way to turn, God looked upon me and said, "I am the way follow me."

My friends and family turned their backs on me and said there was no hope of me ever becoming anything, but God came to me and said, "I'll be your friend to the end," that changed my life and now I praise him all the day long.

I received several calls from potential employers with job offers only to learn I didn't get the job, however, God said, "I have a job for you if you continue to believe I will supply your every need," all during my unemployment he paid my rent, fed me, and kept money in my pocket.

When I couldn't sleep at night.  I laid awake with tears in my eyes because trouble was all around me.  Jesus came to me and said, "Come unto me and I will give you rest."  Now sleep is peaceful and He told me, "Weepth endure for a night but joy comes in the morning." I rejoice cause trouble don't last long.

During the times when trouble is all around don't be perplexed or distressed.  Put your hand in the Masters hand he will lead you through the trouble waters of life and sat your feet on solid ground.  God is interested in us, take an interest in God.

Paul was content in his life's situations and he said rejoice, that means continual joy and praise.  There is no need to say that is hard to do or why even go that far.  Why not? we labor in endless distress with nothing to show for it but bad health, bad habits, and faithless.

Yes, God did it.

Whose Plan Is It?

Ephesians 4: 1 says, "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called." In verse two, Paul says we are to walk in all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. This walking is not a physical walking but a spiritual one.  It is how we are to live our lives to the glory of God.  How worthy is your walk? It goes deeper than afore mention.  Consider this; There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Eph. 4: 4 - 7) Jesus is the chief corner stone which the foundation is built, therefore those who are the saints of God are the temple of God.  It does not matter where you have your name on a roll, what you should be concern about is your name in the Book of Life. Many Are Called Few Are Chosen

"For many are called but few are chosen." ( Matthew 22: 14) What does this scripture mean to you? The calling is a call to service as a servant for the Living God.  There are many Gods but there is only one Jesus, therefore we must differentiate when we say god. Consider what Jesus said of Saul of Tarsus before Jesus during his conversion: And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias, And he said, Behold, I am here .
