Whose Plan Is It?
Ephesians 4: 1 says, "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called."
In verse two, Paul says we are to walk in all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.
This walking is not a physical walking but a spiritual one. It is how we are to live our lives to the glory of God. How worthy is your walk?
It goes deeper than afore mention. Consider this; There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Eph. 4: 4 - 7)
Jesus is the chief corner stone which the foundation is built, therefore those who are the saints of God are the temple of God. It does not matter where you have your name on a roll, what you should be concern about is your name in the Book of Life.
Therefore examine yourselves daily to insure you are in right standing with Jesus. Our Lord did not say sit on his promises, He said stand on them. Are you standing? If not how can you walk worthy of your vocation sitting. No worries; if you are not able to physically stand God knows that remember this is spiritual.
