Confessing Christ Before Men

Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: (Luke 12: 8)

But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God. (Luke 12:9)

And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him:  but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost is shall not be forgiven. (Luke 12: 10)

And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: (Luke 12: 11)

For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what lye ought to say. (Luke 12: 12)

In verse 8 the Lord says if you confess him before men he will confess you before the angels of God.  Plainly speaking this is an acknowledgement of following Christ. How often does this confession occur before men who are unbelievers? or men that will take your life if you speak the name of Jesus.

In the western world is blessed with freedom of speech.  There is much talk about God, yet many don't seem to serve Jesus.  There is much talk about many gods, yet there is only one Jesus.  This name Jesus is above all other names, therefore this is the only name one can be saved by. Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4: 12)

Whose Plan Is It?

Ephesians 4: 1 says, "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called." In verse two, Paul says we are to walk in all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. This walking is not a physical walking but a spiritual one.  It is how we are to live our lives to the glory of God.  How worthy is your walk? It goes deeper than afore mention.  Consider this; There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Eph. 4: 4 - 7) Jesus is the chief corner stone which the foundation is built, therefore those who are the saints of God are the temple of God.  It does not matter where you have your name on a roll, what you should be concern about is your name in the Book of Life. Many Are Called Few Are Chosen

"For many are called but few are chosen." ( Matthew 22: 14) What does this scripture mean to you? The calling is a call to service as a servant for the Living God.  There are many Gods but there is only one Jesus, therefore we must differentiate when we say god. Consider what Jesus said of Saul of Tarsus before Jesus during his conversion: And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias, And he said, Behold, I am here .
