Earthly Reward or Godly Reward

"From men which are thy hand, O Lord, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes." (Psalm 17: 14, Key Bible, KJV)

The ways of this world are wicked and the wicked men who store up wealth for their children they have their reward here on earth.

God stills the hunger of those he cherish.  Yet an innocent man will wait to receive his reward which is in heaven for the earthly rewards shall pass away.

In this life the locust will reap and what he sows for another man shall consume his earthly wealth.

"As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied when I awake, with thy likeness." (Psalm 17:15, Key Bible, KJV)

For God's people their reward is enjoying the presence of God.  Scripture tells us the sun and moon will cease to give light because God's glory will be the light.  Can you imagine such a power?  A being so magnificent that His presence will be the light of the world.  There is one thing about darkness, light penetrates it.

Enough preaching on what is happening in the world today.  Its time to make a decision of service.  Service to man or service to God. 

Its about healthy teaching and fighting the good fight.  The world's impending destruction is in progress and man's refusal to repent and turn to God because he does what is right in his own eyes.

Why? "Yea; and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived." (2 Timothy 3: 12, 13)

As you can see from the above verse God know the ways of the ungodly, now, he who has an ear let him hear.

Whose Plan Is It?

Ephesians 4: 1 says, "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called." In verse two, Paul says we are to walk in all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. This walking is not a physical walking but a spiritual one.  It is how we are to live our lives to the glory of God.  How worthy is your walk? It goes deeper than afore mention.  Consider this; There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Many Are Called Few Are Chosen

"For many are called but few are chosen." ( Matthew 22: 14) What does this scripture mean to you? The calling is a call to service as a servant for the Living God.  There are many Gods but there is only one Jesus, therefore we must differentiate when we say god. Consider what Jesus said of Saul of Tarsus before Jesus during his conversion: And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias, And he said, Behold, I am here .
