In God's Care

On this Christian journey discovery of God's power, his goodness, is learned in ways we can not understand how God does what he does when he does it.

Scripture states God's thoughts are not like our thoughts nor is his ways like our ways, therefore we should not strain ourselves to know what God thinks or act a certain because we think it is what God wants.  We will never achieve anything with that attitude because we will be too busy trying to think and act like which would prove to be contrary to God.

God's way is absolute.  During our journey we are too remain faithful, trusting God and he will take care of us.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (Psalm 91:1)

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God in him will I trust. (Psalm 91:2)

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence. (Psalm 91: 3)

He shall cover thee with his feathers and under the wings shall thou trust his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. (Psalm 91:4)

Have mercy on us all Lord for sometimes we know not what we do.  Teach us humility that we may draw closer to you and to let your will be done not what we think but to do your will.  There are times Lord when you strecth forth your powerful hand to teach us your goodness and sometimes we may not know at the time but you always let us know it was you all the time.

Teach us to stand Lord when you teach us.  Lord when we learn to lean on you and not to our own understanding we find peace, power and love.  Thank you Lord, in Jesus name amen.

Whose Plan Is It?

Ephesians 4: 1 says, "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called." In verse two, Paul says we are to walk in all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. This walking is not a physical walking but a spiritual one.  It is how we are to live our lives to the glory of God.  How worthy is your walk? It goes deeper than afore mention.  Consider this; There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Eph. 4: 4 - 7) Jesus is the chief corner stone which the foundation is built, therefore those who are the saints of God are the temple of God.  It does not matter where you have your name on a roll, what you should be concern about is your name in the Book of Life. Many Are Called Few Are Chosen

"For many are called but few are chosen." ( Matthew 22: 14) What does this scripture mean to you? The calling is a call to service as a servant for the Living God.  There are many Gods but there is only one Jesus, therefore we must differentiate when we say god. Consider what Jesus said of Saul of Tarsus before Jesus during his conversion: And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias, And he said, Behold, I am here .
