What Is Your Joy?

Scripture tells us the joy of the Lord is our strength.  Scripture also says delight ourselves in the Lord and he will give us the desires of our hearts.

Do we really know what joy is?  do we really know where true joy come from? do we know who gives us true joy?.

Lets face it, some will say yes to all the above and some will say they don't know, and the honest will say the truth.

Ask yourselves the above questions and when you do think about them before you answer.  When you do answer make sure you know who is the head of your life that will be a clue as to your joy.

Whose Plan Is It?

Ephesians 4: 1 says, "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called." In verse two, Paul says we are to walk in all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. This walking is not a physical walking but a spiritual one.  It is how we are to live our lives to the glory of God.  How worthy is your walk? It goes deeper than afore mention.  Consider this; There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Eph. 4: 4 - 7) Jesus is the chief corner stone which the foundation is built, therefore those who are the saints of God are the temple of God.  It does not matter where you have your name on a roll, what you should be concern about is your name in the Book of Life. Many Are Called Few Are Chosen

"For many are called but few are chosen." ( Matthew 22: 14) What does this scripture mean to you? The calling is a call to service as a servant for the Living God.  There are many Gods but there is only one Jesus, therefore we must differentiate when we say god. Consider what Jesus said of Saul of Tarsus before Jesus during his conversion: And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias, And he said, Behold, I am here .
