What Hinders You?

In Acts 27 scripture shares with us the voyage of Paul to Italy.  The voyage had become dangerous.  Paul says in verse 10 these words; And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship but also of our lives.

God sees danger that escapes our narrow vision, however, Paul's revelation was ignored.  Shortly there came a storm followed by a shipwreck.

We ignore God's warnings.  He tell us to go left and we go right and end up shipwrecked.  Why get mad at God? you made the choice.

But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.  And now I exhort you to be of good cheer; for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship. (Acts 27: 21,22)

The consequences was the lost of the ship.  We suffer consequences of some type, yet, God allows us to continue the journey under His guidance and protection.

So choose today.  Will  you allow yourself to be hindered by what you think is the best thing to do or will you let God guide you through the stormy waters of life?
