Loving The World

Why love the world? it will not love you back.  How many times have you ventured into its deep waters with someone you thought was your friend? When you turned to look for your friend when you needed a helping hand getting back to the peaceful shore they were no where to be found?

You probably found yourself asking yourself how did you get into such a fix.  That is really easy to answer; you placed your trust in the wisdom of man, rather placing your faith in the power of God, now you are probably a little apprehensive about asking God for help because you know you totally messed up. 

Well he is a forgiving God.  My advice is be obedient to what God is saying to you no matter how it may sound, do it! it will save you a long swim alone in shark infested waters.

Whose Plan Is It?

Ephesians 4: 1 says, "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called." In verse two, Paul says we are to walk in all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. This walking is not a physical walking but a spiritual one.  It is how we are to live our lives to the glory of God.  How worthy is your walk? It goes deeper than afore mention.  Consider this; There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Eph. 4: 4 - 7) Jesus is the chief corner stone which the foundation is built, therefore those who are the saints of God are the temple of God.  It does not matter where you have your name on a roll, what you should be concern about is your name in the Book of Life. Many Are Called Few Are Chosen

"For many are called but few are chosen." ( Matthew 22: 14) What does this scripture mean to you? The calling is a call to service as a servant for the Living God.  There are many Gods but there is only one Jesus, therefore we must differentiate when we say god. Consider what Jesus said of Saul of Tarsus before Jesus during his conversion: And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias, And he said, Behold, I am here .
