Yes Lord

Yes Lord to your will and to your way.  Everyday we go through some type of tribulation.  There are those instances when we don't understand the reason for tribulations.  Jesus did say we will go through such things and he warned his disciples that they would also, because Jesus himself went through such things.  What are tribulations? sorrows.

Does this mean Jesus was sorrowful? at times he was because those he offered salvation refused it.  1 Samuel tells us how the Israelites requested a king over them.  This pained God that after all he was doing for his people they rejected Him.

The 21st century is a time of sorrow for many who are not in Christ.  If there was ever a time in mankind's bleak history to seek God, is now.  This is not to be confused with the coming of the Lord in 15 minutes, this means time is running out and don't wait until Jesus show up to know he is real.

Whose Plan Is It?

Ephesians 4: 1 says, "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called." In verse two, Paul says we are to walk in all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. This walking is not a physical walking but a spiritual one.  It is how we are to live our lives to the glory of God.  How worthy is your walk? It goes deeper than afore mention.  Consider this; There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Eph. 4: 4 - 7) Jesus is the chief corner stone which the foundation is built, therefore those who are the saints of God are the temple of God.  It does not matter where you have your name on a roll, what you should be concern about is your name in the Book of Life. Many Are Called Few Are Chosen

"For many are called but few are chosen." ( Matthew 22: 14) What does this scripture mean to you? The calling is a call to service as a servant for the Living God.  There are many Gods but there is only one Jesus, therefore we must differentiate when we say god. Consider what Jesus said of Saul of Tarsus before Jesus during his conversion: And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias, And he said, Behold, I am here . (Acts 9: 10, Key Bible KJV) As you see from verse 10 Jesus called Ananias by name and pressed him into service.  Jesus chose Ananias the disciple for this task and Jesus calls many of us for service; do we answer as Ananias or do we ponder the call as if something strange has come over us? or do we ignore the calling and wonder later what is happening in our life our spirit.  It's called conviction and this is a good thing.  Those that are not called do not suffer conviction they s...
