(Mark 6: 45) This was quiet a task for one individual when viewed through natural eyes; but when viewed through spiritual eyes one can see the power of God not only in the feeding of the five thousand but the spiritual equipping (preparation) of individuals. Our Christian lifestyle defines who we are in Christ.  We who have accepted Jesus as Lord of our lives defines the moment we became separated from a life in darkness.  Perhaps at one point in our lives we were not associated with what a surrendered life is not.  A surrendered life is not giving up its' giving in to Christ taking complete charge of our lives.  When God led Moses and the Israelites out of bondage to crossing a divided Red Sea on dry ground was a defining moment in their lives. They did not know before hand how God was going to save them from Pharaoh's charging Army; yet when Moses stretch forth his arms with his staff in hand the power of God manifested in the parting of the Sea and they cross over on dry land safe and secure.
