Where Are You Now?

In the year 2012 where do you find yourself?  Are you struggling with the same things you struggled with in 2011?  Do you find yourself wondering if life will ever be more than what is right now? Are you one of the many who have nothing but questions with no answers?

If you are, join those who share the same life meaningless questions club.  Scripture tells us weepth may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.  What does that mean to you?

Scripture also tells us seek the kingdom of God and all his righteousness and all else will be added unto you?  what does that mean to you.

Scripture further tells us if we delight ourselves in the Lord he will give us the desires of our hearts.  What is your desire?

What joy are we expecting in the morning?  Is it a new job, better pay or something of a material value?

When we seek God is it for personal gain or is it because we need things that only give us temporary joy.

What ever we may think it is if it does not have God as the head then we become the tail.

Whose Plan Is It?

Ephesians 4: 1 says, "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called." In verse two, Paul says we are to walk in all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. This walking is not a physical walking but a spiritual one.  It is how we are to live our lives to the glory of God.  How worthy is your walk? It goes deeper than afore mention.  Consider this; There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Eph. 4: 4 - 7) Jesus is the chief corner stone which the foundation is built, therefore those who are the saints of God are the temple of God.  It does not matter where you have your name on a roll, what you should be concern about is your name in the Book of Life. Many Are Called Few Are Chosen

"For many are called but few are chosen." ( Matthew 22: 14) What does this scripture mean to you? The calling is a call to service as a servant for the Living God.  There are many Gods but there is only one Jesus, therefore we must differentiate when we say god. Consider what Jesus said of Saul of Tarsus before Jesus during his conversion: And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias, And he said, Behold, I am here .
