Assurance Of Believing In The Power Of God

The recent ruling by the Supreme Court making it legal for same sex couple to marry defies the Supreme God.  God says that marriage is between a man and woman.  Therefore, does the Supreme Court have the right to defy God and place believers to chose between man's law and God's word. Consider Kim Davis was placed exactly in that position, whose next? Are God fearing people to walk on an egg shell while Gays say, "If you don't do this I will sue you?" Well, Satan is a liar! And now is the time for True Believers to stand up.  If True Believers would have stood in the first place none of this would be happening.

Have you ever notice how close the sky is to the ground?  Have you notice how the night sky appears to bring the heavens and its company in reaching distance? Are we going up or is something or someone coming done?  Have people become so busy with the cares of this world that they are not discerning the times?  Jesus said the world is surpassing the wickedness of Noah's day.  Now would be a great time to walk upright or at least strive at it before it is to late.

Why love the world? it will not love you back.  How many times have you ventured into its deep waters with someone you thought was your friend? When you turned to look for your friend when you needed a helping hand getting back to the peaceful shore they were no where to be found? You probably found yourself asking yourself how did you get into such a fix.  That is really easy to answer; you placed your trust in the wisdom of man, rather placing your faith in the power of God, now you are probably a little apprehensive about asking God for help because you know you totally messed up.  Well he is a forgiving God.  My advice is be obedient to what God is saying to you no matter how it may sound, do it! it will save you a long swim alone in shark infested waters.

One year ago I posted to my blog page.  Since then I have labored in the gospel.  I have experienced the ups and downs, the rejection, the loneliness that sometimes appears when nothing else seems to exist. I have seen wars in the churches.  As I ponder what the heck are people up to in God's house, it came to me they do not fear God.  If they did they would not conduct themselves in such a worldly manner.  Through it all I considered these people.  I mean they may be faking it until they make it (how sad) or they believe they can fool man, but the amazing part about all of this is, don't they realize God is watching everything we do and say?  wow! they are truly blind. Hell is often misunderstood.  Some think of it as a place where the devil looms over it, red in color with a tail and a pitch fork.  Many also think there are flames shooting all over the place.  They also think that there is a big party going on as well, and souls burning.  If you believe that, then you believe it was an actual apple that Adam and Eve ate. For those who think there is a party in hell here is who and how you will be partying. "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and the brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever, and ever" (Rev. 20: 10). Does this sound like a party? Therefore all of you who call yourselves prophets and prophetess I pray the living God called you; because no man can appoint you to this office and you can't be born into it.  Only GOD can call you to this office. Consider yourselves warned because hell is not freezing; not today, not ever. ...

Everyday when the Lord starts us on our way we are heading somewhere.  It could be a trip outside of the home or just lounging around your home we are assuredly on our way. Of course one may say, "you don't know my day."  This is true, but God does.  One may also say, "I want be doing anything today or I would like to have a day free from all things."  I would ask, "how is that working for you?" When the Lord opens our eyes we are on our way, through life that is.  No matter how contrite it may seem we are on our way.  Besides the Lord says he is close to a contrite heart.  Why seek the things of this world when it is dying? Scripture further states, "It is only what you do for Christ that will last." Consider Christ, He is the way, the truth, the life, now you are truly on your way.
