Satan's Plan Against Us

Satan has cleverly devised a five point plan against us.  Consider what is about to be read and use it to identify when the following five demonaic missiles land in your spiritual backyard.

Doubt - Makes you question God's Word and his goodness.

Discouragement - Makes you look at your problems rather than at God.

Diversion - Makes the wrong things seem attractive so that you will want them more than the right things.

Defeat - Makes you feel like a failure so that you don't even try.

Delay - Makes you put off doing something so that is never gets done.

If the question ever came up, why? now you know.

The Strait Gate The Strait Gate is a narrow entrance.   Consider the words of Jesus in Luke 13: 22-24. Verse 22:   And he went through the cities and village, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. Verse 23:   Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved?   And he said unto them, Verse 24:   Strive to enter in at the strait gate:   for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. The path to the kingdom is a narrow one.   Following any other path than Jesus, one will not be able to enter. The gospel is the good news.   What is the good news? The kingdom ! Whose Plan Is It?

Ephesians 4: 1 says, "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called." In verse two, Paul says we are to walk in all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. This walking is not a physical walking but a spiritual one.  It is how we are to live our lives to the glory of God.  How worthy is your walk? It goes deeper than afore mention.  Consider this; There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Eph. 4: 4 - 7) Jesus is the chief corner stone which the foundation is built, therefore those who are the saints of God are the temple of God.  It does not matter where you have your name on a roll, what you should be concern about is your name in the Book of Life.
