Ever notice most sermons celebrate heaven; those in attendance get high on the thoughts of walking on streets paved with gold? Peter speaks about heaven is worth suffering for. (1 Peter 1: 3-12) Quite the contrast of suffering in hell. In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Thessalonians 1: 8) It does not matter how good you are. It does not matter how long your name has been on the church roll. It does not matter how well you pray. What matters is obeying the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. In many churches hell is not taught. Why this occurs is a shameful distrust being perpetrated and the masses that follow this doctrine become aliens to Christ. Some think they will see old friends and there will be one big everlasting party; not according to scripture. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolater...
