The Christian Warfare

In any war there will be causalities and the Christian warfare is no different.  To effectively wage war against the enemy one must be equipped with the proper weapons of war.

The Christian Armor consists of:

3 weapons for endurement:  The girdle, breastplate and shoes.
2 weapons of defense:          The shield and helmet.
2 weapons of offense:           The sword and spear.

Seven weapons; the number seven is God's number for Spiritual Completeness.

Feet fitted with readiness. 

Shield of faith which is Jesus to extinguish flaming arrows.

Reminder that this battle is spiritual and must be fought in God's strength, therefore is you are not trained properly to use these weapons don't put on the armor; should put on the armor be prepared to take the offensive and fight until the battle is won.

When you are in an Army there are deserters and in God's Army the deserters commit "Apostasy." 

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the later times some shall depart from the faith giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils; speaking lies in hypocrisy having their conscience seared with a hot iron. (1 Timothy 4: 1, 2)

A New Day

Well here we are in the twenty-first century. Actually we are eighteen years into the twenty-first century and it looks like the world is in worse shape that ever. One may ask, how so? Well, the country is divided over many issues and the United States has a president who is more interested in his own business rather than the people's business. In other words he has the mentality of a task master who believes the American people are his subjects, but he fails to realize he works for the people. What I don't get is how can a person who is not a people person govern people?

The Strait Gate

The Strait Gate The Strait Gate is a narrow entrance.   Consider the words of Jesus in Luke 13: 22-24. Verse 22:   And he went through the cities and village, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. Verse 23:   Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved?   And he said unto them, Verse 24:   Strive to enter in at the strait gate:   for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
