Do You Have Time?

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day; the night cometh, when no man can work. (John 9: 4) Is there some person, place of thing in your life that continues to manifest itself in a way it causes you to stumble? Do you labor day and night over people, places and things? If your answer is yes, be encouraged.  Jesus said he must work.  Jesus didn't get weekends off.  Nor did he live for the weekends or sang the "Thank God Its Friday" song.  Jesus did the works of Him (God) who sent him during the time, his father gave unto him. True believers don't have the luxury of time.  If there be one who thinks they do then consider why your joy fades in and out as though the wind rises and it is swept away.  Perhaps we lean to our own understanding and began to yield to seducing spirits that come to steal, kill, and destroy.  Scripture tells us it is only what you do for Christ that will last. Do you have time?

Whose Plan Is It?

Ephesians 4: 1 says, "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called." In verse two, Paul says we are to walk in all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. This walking is not a physical walking but a spiritual one.  It is how we are to live our lives to the glory of God.  How worthy is your walk? It goes deeper than afore mention.  Consider this; There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Eph. 4: 4 - 7) Jesus is the chief corner stone which the foundation is built, therefore those who are the saints of God are the temple of God.  It does not matter where you have your name on a roll, what you should be concern about is your name in the Book of Life.
