When Hell Freezes

Hell is often misunderstood.  Some think of it as a place where the devil looms over it, red in color with a tail and a pitch fork.  Many also think there are flames shooting all over the place.  They also think that there is a big party going on as well, and souls burning.  If you believe that, then you believe it was an actual apple that Adam and Eve ate. For those who think there is a party in hell here is who and how you will be partying. "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and the brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever, and ever" (Rev. 20: 10). Does this sound like a party? Therefore all of you who call yourselves prophets and prophetess I pray the living God called you; because no man can appoint you to this office and you can't be born into it.  Only GOD can call you to this office. Consider yourselves warned because hell is not freezing; not today, not ever. ...

On Your Way

Everyday when the Lord starts us on our way we are heading somewhere.  It could be a trip outside of the home or just lounging around your home we are assuredly on our way. Of course one may say, "you don't know my day."  This is true, but God does.  One may also say, "I want be doing anything today or I would like to have a day free from all things."  I would ask, "how is that working for you?" When the Lord opens our eyes we are on our way, through life that is.  No matter how contrite it may seem we are on our way.  Besides the Lord says he is close to a contrite heart.  Why seek the things of this world when it is dying? Scripture further states, "It is only what you do for Christ that will last." Consider Christ, He is the way, the truth, the life, now you are truly on your way.

Do You Have Time?

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day; the night cometh, when no man can work. (John 9: 4) Is there some person, place of thing in your life that continues to manifest itself in a way it causes you to stumble? Do you labor day and night over people, places and things? If your answer is yes, be encouraged.  Jesus said he must work.  Jesus didn't get weekends off.  Nor did he live for the weekends or sang the "Thank God Its Friday" song.  Jesus did the works of Him (God) who sent him during the time, his father gave unto him. True believers don't have the luxury of time.  If there be one who thinks they do then consider why your joy fades in and out as though the wind rises and it is swept away.  Perhaps we lean to our own understanding and began to yield to seducing spirits that come to steal, kill, and destroy.  Scripture tells us it is only what you do for Christ that will last. Do you have time?

Whose Plan Is It?

Ephesians 4: 1 says, "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called." In verse two, Paul says we are to walk in all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. This walking is not a physical walking but a spiritual one.  It is how we are to live our lives to the glory of God.  How worthy is your walk? It goes deeper than afore mention.  Consider this; There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Eph. 4: 4 - 7) Jesus is the chief corner stone which the foundation is built, therefore those who are the saints of God are the temple of God.  It does not matter where you have your name on a roll, what you should be concern about is your name in the Book of Life. Therefore examine yourselves daily to insure you are in...

Redemption

Have you been redeemed by the blood of Jesus? Have you repented from you sins and gave Jesus control over your life? Do you continue to act worldly and say you are saved? Maybe you believe salvation is not the answer because someone tells you that you can mix the world with your faith; of course that is only if you have real faith. Ever heard of righteous indignation? Check out Jeremiah that is in the Old Testament and you will find it from the first chapter to the last; perhaps you may discover self and wouldn't that be alarming? Jesus is coming back for a church without spot or blemish and he is coming back like a thief in the night.  Why would He come back like a thief? He really isn't he says that because if you knew when the thief was coming you would have prepared for his arrival.  Make no mistake about it Jesus already knows what we all are doing, therefore he doesn't have to sneak up on anyone.  He just hopes everyone will be ready when he does come and m...

Being Believable

Do you believe you have a difficult time communicating with others?  Especially when you are speaking about the love of Christ? If you are don't take it personally because it is not you, it is the light that is in you.  Secondly, did you go on your own or did God send you? If you are not sure, then do what Christ tells us to do, BE STILL.

Yes Lord

Yes Lord to your will and to your way.  Everyday we go through some type of tribulation.  There are those instances when we don't understand the reason for tribulations.  Jesus did say we will go through such things and he warned his disciples that they would also, because Jesus himself went through such things.  What are tribulations? sorrows. Does this mean Jesus was sorrowful? at times he was because those he offered salvation refused it.  1 Samuel tells us how the Israelites requested a king over them.  This pained God that after all he was doing for his people they rejected Him. The 21st century is a time of sorrow for many who are not in Christ.  If there was ever a time in mankind's bleak history to seek God, is now.  This is not to be confused with the coming of the Lord in 15 minutes, this means time is running out and don't wait until Jesus show up to know he is real.
